Events Are Out!

Hey, everybody! If you weren't at the meeting today, here's a quick recap for you guys:

First of all, we will take attendance at meetings from now on. Please read the board upon entering the classroom to see what you need to do!

WE NEED MONEY! Registration alone costs about $2,000, not including shirts and build reimbursements. If you can, please donate or ask your parents to! Our lovely treasurer Raina will be collecting money from now on, so if you wish to donate, go to her. We will also have fundraisers in the future, so watch out for those!

Start thinking of team name themes! Make sure that the theme has 6 names total, one for each team.

Lastly, the EVENTS MATRIX is out. Our officers spent a lot of time going over the events and distributing them (special shoutout to Vianna), so please understand that it isn't always possible for all 90 of you to get every event that you want.

• If you wish to switch an event, you must switch with a group within your team. BOTH groups must agree to the switch; do not pressure people into switching with you.

• Please do not drop an event. It negatively affects our placement as a school, and you have agreed and obligated yourself to your events when you filled out the events form.

• Give your events a chance! It may turn out to be your new favorite event.

If you still have not filled out the contact info form or joined our Discord, please make sure you do. They help so we can both effectively communicate with you, and you can easily reach out to other teams for advice.
